Open your computer. Turn on your headphones. Log in. Start writing while playing YouTube on the next tab. This is my daily routine, the background noise merges with the music and I can concentrate better. Usually yes, but sometimes the song gets stuck in my head and I have to listen to it on repeat until I can’t stand it. I know it sounds crazy but it’s true and every time I hit the play button I go crazy. There must be a better way to watch YouTube videos, and I’ve found four. The methods below allow you to loop a video once without having to. Go.

Method 1: Use the original version
Suitable for repeating YouTube videos
This method has always been in the public eye, and for some reason I ignored it or even bothered to look at it until recently. YouTube offers a repeat feature within the player itself on the web page. Let’s see how it works.
- Launch YouTube on your computer.
- Play any video you want to watch.
- Right click anywhere on the video player.
- Here you will see a list of parameters and a loop.
- Click on the loop and you’re done, the video will now play indefinitely.

It also works on your smartphones
I think you can enable this feature on your smartphones too, but it may not work on all devices and browsers. I used the Chrome browser on my Android device and iPhone to test this feature and it only worked on Android. (for iPhone you can download Safari)
- Open Chrome on your phone and go to m.youtube.com.
- Click on the three dots at the top and select Request Website for PC.
- Play the video of your choice.
- Hold to view a list of options, press cycle.
- The video will now play in a loop on your phone.

- Pros: Simple and native, background display support on smartphones.
- Cons: Nothing to do, limited options.
Method 2: Use a playlist
Suitable for – Looping multiple YouTube videos.
Okay, this is a little weird, I use music on my phone and rarely disable this feature, I repeat. My playlist is always in random order. When I switched to YouTube as my main music source, I never thought this button was here. You can use this button to repeat multiple videos, but this does not mean repeating not every video, but the entire playlist.
Create a new playlist.
Add songs to the playlist that you want to repeat by clicking the + button.
When you’re done, launch the playlist and hit the repeat button.
Your playlist will repeat over and over and work on both desktop and mobile devices.

Pros: Repeat multiple YouTube videos works on both computer and mobile.
Cons: extra steps
Method 3: Using Third Party Websites and Apps
Suitable for – If you regularly repeat YouTube videos
Now I understand that the playlist feature is not for everyone and the built in looping feature does nothing but loop the entire video. This method is slightly longer than the first one, but has some additional advantages. There are websites that have the same purpose of repeating loop a youtube video, and on top of that, you get a slow motion feature that allows you to repeat parts of a video instead of repeating the entire song. I thought the best way to do this was to “listen on repeat”. Of course, there are many websites that do the same job, but it’s all about preference and simplicity.
Find the YouTube video you want to loop on your computer.
Press Enter.
This will redirect you to a repeating website and play the video in an endless loop. There is now a slider right below the video player that allows you to adjust the duration of the video and even play part of the video loop.
