There is nothing better than relaxing after a hard day’s work and listening to great melodies to cheer you up. You think that nothing can spoil your mood except disconnecting from the Internet. Bumper, am I right? Wouldn’t it be nice to keep listening to your favorite songs even if the network goes down? Well, you can and will – it’s easy to save what you like to your local drive by knowing how to convert youtube to audio.
Don’t worry, it’s a simple process and I’ll guide you every step of the way. Let’s start.
How to Convert YouTube Videos to MP3 – The Big Picture
So what happened to this YouTube to MP3 conversion gig? As I mentioned, there are many reasons to save a local copy of your favorite song: internet connection, ideas for a hat out of aluminum foil, making a time capsule.
To elect. The fact remains that nothing beats a good old local playlist. Just shuffling melodies; no internet, no hassle, nothing. You can also burn the tunes to CD or DVD to recreate the atmosphere of the late 2000s.
Anyway, YouTube conversion takes a few seconds and it would be really nice to have a copy of this tune stuck in your head before someone sues YT for copyright infringement, because dammit, why not?
As you can imagine, the easiest way to do this is to use a free online tool. There are thousands available; There’s plenty to choose from, but can you tell which one is legit and which one is fake? That’s why I’m here – to show you great online conversion resources and teach you how to use them. To enjoy!

Online Video Converter
My personal favorite, Online Video Converter is the only YouTube video converter that hasn’t let me down so far. Pretty easy to use and has a ridiculously long uptime; as far as i know, this gadget has been working since 2008 (about what has been done for ages!). Here’s how to convert videos with this gadget.
Step 1. Go to YouTube and find your favorite music video.
Step 2: Copy the URL to your clipboard.
Step 3. Go to OnlineVideoConverter.
Step 4: Paste the YouTube link in the first field.
Step 5: Select an audio format from the drop-down menu. MP3 is the default conversion format, but other options are also available.
You can choose between .acc., .ogg, .mp4a, .wma, .flac or .wav. If you also need a video, you can convert it to one of the available video formats: .mp4, .m4v, .mov, .flv, .avi, .mpg or .wmv.
Step 6. Click the “Advanced Settings” hyperlink to open advanced video conversion options.
Step 7. Choose the conversion length. What is this? Suppose you want to record only parts of a melody. To do this, uncheck the box next to the start of the video and enter the start time index using the keyboard.
To fully convert the video to the end, leave a check mark next to the “end video” box. Otherwise, uncheck the box and enter the end tooth index.
Step 8. Choose a bitrate. This is the sound quality of your file, which will be converted shortly. The default value is 192 kbps, but you can increase it to 320 kbps. If you have a high quality headset, I recommend setting the bitrate to the maximum.
Step 9. When you are satisfied with your choice, click the “Start” button to convert YouTube videos. This will take some time – a few seconds or minutes depending on the video length, audio quality, format and internet connection.
Step 10. After the conversion process is completed, you can download the ringtone to your local drive. Use the “Download” button in the top right corner of the screen to save a copy to your hard drive.
You can also download the file directly to your tablet or smartphone by scanning the automatically generated QR code that appears on your screen.
The converted files can also be uploaded to your Dropbox account if you have one; just click the “Save to Dropbox” button below the QR code.
This is all! Watch the video below if you get stuck with any of the steps.
